The Strays
The Strays by Emily Bitto Blog to be written by Sally
Our rating for this book averaged 7.5/10 and it was described as "verging on frustrating", "interesting story and good for discussion but not sure I would recommend it !"
Sharon's comments : Good story telling especially the household of the Trenthams and the Strays. I was disappointed as I was expecting a “climax” of sorts regarding the death of Heloise but which never came. The switch back the the 70s was an emotional let down.
Horrifying to imagine that Jerome got away with 2 of Evan and Helena’s underaged daughters !! How is that possible ?? I rate this book 7/10
